Megan completed a Masters in Educational Studies and Research Methods at Oxford University. She also completed her doctoral degree in comparative and international education, with a focus on inclusive social policies in post-conflict situations. She has held a UNESCO Chair research fellowship at Oxford University from 2006-2007 which included international consultancies in Myanmar and Ukraine. She has extensive lecturing experience at international universities and several publications on inclusive education policies for vulnerable groups such as refugees and asylum seekers.
