Opportunities

BDI continues to expand as the BDI Methodology is applied to an increasing range of real-world problems. There are several options for those seeking to contribute, join or partner with BDI.

Internships

BDI regularly takes on interns currently working towards advanced degrees in relevant academic disciplines. Most are locally-based, drawn from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Kings College London, and University College London (UCL).

If you are a student in one of the academic fields discussed throughout this site and have an interest in the real-world application of your discipline, please feel free to contact us. While our internship programme is active every summer, positions become available through the year depending on existing research projects.

Roles for Individual Researchers

There are opportunities at BDI for active researchers interested to contribute to BDI research, training or methodological development efforts. BDI is interested to hear from individuals with advanced degrees and at least two years of research experience in the following areas of specialisation.

  • Social Psychology

Social psychology is at the heart of the BDI Methodology. We are looking to expand our network of individuals who have research backgrounds in the field and seek an opportunity to apply their expertise in novel and challenging domains.

  • Behavioural Economics

Currently there is a vacancy for an individual whose background mixes econometric analysis with a broad understanding of current psychological literature and related behavioural research.

  • Simulation Modelling / Automated Web Extraction

One growth area within the BDI Methodology is the further incorporation of computational tools and modelling techniques. We are currently seeking an individual with a background in systems modelling or Social Network Analysis and an interest in communication or marketing.

Worldwide Partnerships

BDI is always expanding its research network around the world. If you would like to enquire about partnering with BDI or licensing the Methodology for your own field research purposes, please contact us.
